This collaborative online event involoved the construction of a life-sized structure of a Cornish Sailboat in India in answer to a corresponding life-sized structure of the Indian Elephant in the UK, with the participation of children and design students.

The above image illustrates our expression of the Cornish sailboat in relation to the tragic story linked with it. It is an installation that was done at IDC, IIT Bombay in a open air court with a defined geometry.

The installation is designed as a walkthrough experience that reveals the story with both visual and graphic features. The mast symbolizes the transformation of a life in time and space. The attempt is to combine our understanding of space to an experience based in a different context.
